What kind of wood has better anti-corrosion performance? In last post we have a brief introduction: You need to know about treated wood. There are 3 types of treated wood, natural anti-corrosion wood, thermally modified wood and artificial preservative treated wood.
If the environment is very humid, here we suggest to use natural anti-corrosion wood and thermally modified wood.
(1)Natural anti-corrosive wood includes pine red cedar, hardwood pineapple and balsam, etc. These are all natural anti-corrosive wood without any anti-corrosive treatment. They are healthy and environmentally friendly and are mostly used for indoor decoration in humid environment.
(2)The other is carbonized anti-corrosive wood. This is a kind of anti-corrosive wood that has undergone high-temperature carbonization treatment, which has changed the internal structure of the wood and prolonged the service life of the wood. Although it has undergone manual treatment, no preservative is added, and it is mostly used for interior decoration.
(3)The last one is artificial preservative treated wood.
This is the kind of wood that we usually refer to orally. This kind of wood is preservative wood added with preservative and treated with high temperature and chemical treatment.
Although the service life of the wood is prolonged and the preservative performance is added, the main component of the preservative is chromated copper arsenate, and the components of copper and arsenic in the preservative are toxic.
